Tanvir Nowaz is a Principal Lead Software System Engineer at Verizon Corporation, and previously worked at EMC Corporation as a storage architect. He holds a master’s degree in Software Engineering from Brandeis University and a master’s in Computer Engineering from the University of Massachusetts, with bachelor’s degrees from the University of Texas at Austin and Northeastern University.
Tanvir has served as President of AABEA New England and as General Secretary of the human rights organization BDPANA. He currently serves on the board of Shebi, an NGO in Bangladesh supporting children with special needs, and is a member of Amnesty International.
