Nahreen Masfikah serves as Cultural Secretary for AABEA New England, an organization she has been actively involved with since 2021. She is a Structural Engineer at Engineers Design Group Inc. in Malden, Massachusetts.
Over her career she has led the structural design of numerous public buildings, police and fire facilities, and commercial developments across Massachusetts, including Sharon High School, Florence Roche Elementary School, Whitman Middle School, Foster Elementary School, Weymouth Public Library, and the Hingham Fire Station.
She earned her BSc in Civil Engineering from Khulna University of Engineering and Technology in Bangladesh and her MSc in Structural Engineering at Worcester Polytechnic Institute. Through AABEA she works to inspire a new generation of civil engineers and leaders.
